Situated on beautiful Lake Hickory in the northwest section of Hickory, NC, our beautiful community is a great option if you’re looking for a dynamic yet calm lifestyle. The Moore's Ferry Owners' Association (MFOA) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of residents through community services and amenities.

ABOUT US
The Moore's Ferry Owners' Association represents more than half of the homes in the Moore's Ferry neighborhood.

Our community, the Landing at Moore's Ferry, is located on beautiful Lake Hickory in the northwest section of
Hickory, NC. The area is within the city limits and we enjoy the availability of city water, sewer, trash and yard waste disposal, recycling, and police and fire protection.
We maintain, for the private use of our residents, a community clubhouse and swimming pool. Private security services under contract to the association regularly patrol these facilities as well as the streets in our neighborhood. In addition, security cameras are in operation at selected locations.
Covenants are in place to insure that the community maintains an attractive appearance and property values are protected. Enforcement rests with the Moore's Ferry Owners' Association (MFOA) Board of Directors.
A private marina is available for residents, and managed by a separate marina slip owners' association.
An Architectural Review Committee is charged with reviewing and approving plans for new construction as well as exterior changes to existing structures to insure compliance with the rules laid out in the covenants.
Annual dues are paid to fund the security services and maintenance of the common facilities.
Regular community social events and activities help foster a sense of community among neighbors.

Monthly Socials
First Fridays
5:30-7:30 PM
Neighborhood socials are the first Friday of each month at the clubhouse. Adults & children welcome. Drinks and light snacks provided.
Pool Season
May-September
9:30 AM - 9:00 PM
Pool season runs from the Friday of Mothers' Day Weekend through mid-September.
Yard Sales
First Sat. May & Oct
7:00 - 11:00 AM
Neighborhood yard sales are held the first Saturdays in May and October.
